Reviving Legends. Rediscovering the Magic of Classic Cars

These classic cars were cherished as unique works of art, demanding special care and maintenance to preserve their beauty and condition. Many of them held priceless value due to their historical significance, rarity, and scarcity in global markets, having been discontinued for decades.

The International Federation of Gulf Classic Car defined four main categories for classic cars.

  • The first category encompassed antique cars produced between 1912 and 1942, characterized by specific design elements like large front headlights, side-mounted spare wheels, and nickel-chrome exhaust pipes. Examples included Duesenberg, Rolls-Royce, Lagonda, Armstrong, Delahaye, Auburn, and Jaguar.
  • The second category consisted of post-war cars produced between 1945 and 1960, featuring aerodynamic designs, chrome-plated accents, and modern features like air conditioning, power steering, and automatic transmissions. Notable models included the Cadillac Series 62, Chevrolet Bel Air, Ford Thunderbird, and Plymouth Fury.
  • Classic cars, produced between 1961 and 1975, fell under the third category. They boasted powerful engines, sleek designs, and advanced features such as disc brakes, radial tires, and seat belts. Iconic models like the Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, Pontiac GTO, Dodge Charger, and Plymouth Road Runner exemplified this category.
  • The fourth and final category encompassed modern classics, produced between 1976 and 1990. These cars showcased modern designs, advanced technology, and sleek lines. Exemplary models included the Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari Testarossa, Lamborghini Countach, and BMW M3.
